One minute forty: into Nahan Village — our garden, spring processing, sun-dried loose leaf, all in the film.

Dajie, Jingdong / Nahan Village / Our own garden

We grow the tea ourselves,
and we quote it openly.

We are not a teahouse and we do not do fancy packaging. We pick the spring leaf ourselves and do the first processing right in the village. Mostly loose mao cha, priced by the jin, with whole-carton deals negotiable. Want a taste first? We will send a sample — if you like it, we will talk.

01 / Origin

Jingdong, Dajie, Nahan —
where exactly is that?

This section is verifiable regional information, with sources noted. For our own tea, we only speak for ourselves.

Sea of clouds and tea hills on the western slope of Ailao Mountain, Jingdong

Clouds above the hills / Western Ailao slope, Jingdong (on-site photo)

Jingdong: a tea region between two mountain ranges

Jingdong Yi Autonomous County sits at the northern end of Pu'er, crossed by the Wuliangshan and Ailaoshan national nature reserves, and home to 26 ethnic groups including Yi, Han, Hui, Dai and Hani. The Tang-era Man Shu says tea comes from the mountains of Yinsheng — it means this very area. Tea is the county's leading industry for rural incomes.[Jingdong County Government / China Daily]

Dajie: a major tea township on the western Ailao slope

The Ailao west-slope old tea mountains refer to the Huashan–Dajie–Longjie belt of old gardens — the largest of Pu'er's 26 old tea mountains by area. Around Dajie Town they cover villages such as Dajie, Qili, Sanying, Kungang and Pingdi; the old gardens sit beside villages and fields in patches and a starry-sky pattern, intercropped with grain.[A Tour of Pu'er's 26 Old Tea Mountains / Tea from Yinsheng]

In Qili Village, Dajie Town, stands the Lingguan Temple Big Tea Tree, 14.8 m tall — the largest cultivated tea tree found in Jingdong; wild tea at Qingmenkou grows at about 2,090 m. This is the region's heritage, not our own trees; we mention it so you know the terroir.[A Tour of Pu'er's 26 Old Tea Mountains]

What does tea from here taste like?

Published tasting notes describe it as: dark, glossy, fairly fine leaf; golden-bright liquor; bitterness stronger than astringency, resolving to sweetness; decent body; even yellow-green infused leaf. Softer than Bulang or Mengku, firmer than Yiwu — neither mild nor overpowering, and each mountain and village tastes different.[Tasting notes of the Ailao west-slope old tea mountains / Jingdong tea region references]

As for our own batch — you decide if it is good. Samples first; do not take my word for it.

⚠️ A place name that is easy to confuse, cleared up

On the map, Nahan (哪罕) is in Dajie Town, Jingdong Yi Autonomous County, Pu'er (approx. 24.3214°N, 101.0410°E). Many articles about Nahan / Nahang (那罕 / 娜罕) refer to Bangdong Township, Lincang — the old gardens near Xigui, with stories of tribute tea for twelve years in the Daoguang era, little Xigui and tea growing from rock cracks. That is a different place and different tea.We do not borrow those names for ourselves.Nahan here means Nahan in Dajie, Jingdong, and the tea we sell is Jingdong tea.

Three honest sentences about price
  1. No fake online prices: tea prices follow the year, batch and leaf market; a made-up number is pointless.
  2. Priced by the jin: the quote states the batch, form and minimum, with carton discounts listed separately.
  3. Sample fee credited: taste first, and the sample fee comes off the bulk order. No pressure if it is not for you.
03 / How wholesale works

Five steps,
no runaround

Wholesale dies when a question takes half a day, you cannot see the goods, and shipping is vague. We have written the process down — just follow it.

  1. 1
Add us on WeChat, say what you need

Raw or ripe, loose or pressed, rough quantity, destination. No forms — one message is enough.

  2. 2
Today's quote + see the goods

Which batch, price per jin, carton terms — all at once. Want close-ups or video of the garden and processing? We will shoot it on the spot.

  3. 3
    Samples first

Brew a small sample yourself. The sample fee is credited against the bulk order. Like it and we continue; if not, we stop here.

  4. 4
    Confirm and ship

Kraft-paper / foil bags for loose leaf, cartons for full orders; dispatch date, carrier and free-shipping terms are written on the invoice, never left verbal.

  5. 5
    Long-term terms afterwards

Mixed batches, reserved lots, private label and dropshipping are all discussable — but only once the basics run smoothly.

A few blunt words up front

  • Wholesale prices are for loose tea, excluding gift boxes and pressing fees.
  • Mainly this spring's leaf — no invented vintages or mountains; and we do not guess at tree ages.
  • Old-tree leaf is scarce; ask whether this year's exists before ordering — we do not take orders we cannot fill.
  • No paid unlocks, no bot verification. We talk to real buyers.
  • Certificates (SC food production licence, food business permit, etc.) can be sent as originals via WeChat; we do not post scans here.
04 / Supporting growers

If the tea sells,
someone will climb the hill next year

Supporting growers is not a slogan. Below: the policy record we can verify, alongside what we actually do — and we only claim what we do.

Someone in a straw hat holding fresh spring leaf in our own garden Growers picking tea in the garden

All shot in the village — no models, no stock photos.

What the county is doing

Jingdong has been promoting a Party branch + company + cooperative + grower model with long-term purchase agreements and a shared-risk, shared-benefit tie-in, raising fresh-leaf prices by 2–10 RMB/kg and involving 54,000 tea-farming households. It has also built 176 standardised village processing stations, so mao cha is made at origin instead of being hauled away and sold cheap.[Jingdong County Government, Five Measures to Improve the Whole Tea Industry Chain]

What we actually do

  • We buy fresh leaf only from our village and nearby growers, pick and process in spring, never squeeze prices and never blend in outside leaf.
  • First processing is done in the village and the loose leaf ships direct — one fewer middleman.
  • If wholesale moves, pickers have wages next year. That is the most practical part.
  • We do not publish unverified households-helped numbers; for data we cite only public county figures.
When the tea has somewhere to go, someone looks after the trees on the hill.

06 / Common questions

What you were about to ask,
answered first

The questions wholesale buyers ask most, answered plainly — no runaround, no hype.

Sheng or shou pu'er?

Both are possible; the main line is sun-dried mao cha (loose raw tea). Ripe or fermented lots depend on what we made that year — just ask.

Is it this year's new tea?

Mainly This springthis spring's leaf. The batch and picking date go on the quote — old leaf is never passed off as new.

Is it old-tree tea? How old are the trees?

We do not invent tree ages. Old-tree and selectively picked lots are small; tell us which plot or garden you want and we will film it on site. What we can verify, we state; what we cannot, we do not make up.

Loose leaf or cakes?

Wholesale defaults to Loose leafloose leaf. 357 g cakes, bricks and gift boxes are pressed and billed separately, including labour and packaging.

How long will it keep? How should I store it?

Sun-dried mao cha ages well in a dry, airy, dark, odour-free place. Keep it out of the kitchen, out of sunlight and away from spices — that beats any elaborate ritual.

Aroma and taste?

Published notes for the Ailao west-slope, Jingdong area: dark glossy fine leaf, golden liquor, bitterness over astringency turning sweet, decent body. For a specific batch, nothing beats brewing a sample yourself.

Any recent photos or video?

Yes. Everything in Photos above was shot at origin; for today's garden, fresh leaf, withering trays, dry-leaf close-ups or video, message us and we will take and send them.

How do I get samples?

Send your address on WeChat and we will post a small sample. The sample fee is credited against your bulk order. Taste first, no hard sell.

When does it ship? Who pays freight?

We ship on the date stated on the order: kraft-paper / foil bags for loose leaf, cartons for full orders. Carrier and free-shipping terms are written on the quote, never left verbal.

Dropshipping / private label?

Possible. Let us get samples and the first order running smoothly, then discuss mixed batches, reserved lots, private label and dropshipping.

Why no prices online?

Tea prices follow the year, batch and raw-leaf market; a made-up number is pointless. Message us for today's quote sheet, priced by the jin, stating the batch, minimum and carton discount.
